Emergency 9-1-1!!!

Yes, that firetruck is parked in front of our apartment...and yes, it is because we called them. If you want to story, you'll have to call Laura...Jared don't do stories.

Lessons learned:

(1) You treat a "partial obstruction choking situation" different than you treat a "full obstruction choking situation". Oops...

(2) Calling 9-1-1, having them speed to your home with an ambulance and fire truck whose sirens are blaring, having them unload a stretcher, having 6 firemen and EMTs pile into your apartment, having them run some tests, and having them leave costs $0. As long as you don't ride in the ambulance, the visit is free. So, if you're ever in doubt about calling 9-1-1, just call 'em! If it turns out to be a false alarm, no problem. If it turns out to be a real emergency, you'll be glad you called!

10-months old

Just growing...and doing regular 10-month old things.

Like eating bubbles...

Holding as many things (monkeys) in one hand as I can...

Walking on my hands (she was doing it a lot better before we finally got the camera out! :P )...

And cruising around in a box.

Norwegian Festival and Fairy Princesses

Yes, Katie is 1/4 Norwegian...and very proud of it. So proud, she went to the Norwegian Independence Day Celebration...as a Fairy Princess.
(This is a Viking boat. We plundered everyone behind us after taking this pic.)

That's a Norwegian flag...just in case you didn't know.
Viva Norway...uh, I mean Viva Mexico! Hurra fur Norge! :)

Who's the better looking man? This one?

Or this one?

Flying away to more fun things in the park...

Like flowers and benches...

Like lamp posts...

Like being on bridges...

And under bridges...

And in little pavilions...

And crawling on twisted trees...

But, at the end of the day, fairy princesses still need their moms.
