A little bit of the seasons...

Halloween!

Laura made these cute halloween-shaped pancakes for Katie.
Katie wouldn't eat the cat.  It was TOO cute.

Ready for trick-or-treating!

Ready for a stroller-ride...
while my sister gets boatloads of candy.
Life is unfair.

Enjoying the Fall leaves!

 Life is bliss.

I love leaves too...when I get to eat them!

 It snowed!

Yeah, that's Katie.  That's easy enough...
But who is that marshmallow with a head?
Oh yes, that is Kylie.

 Who has the biggest cheeser?
The snowman!

Katie wanted to kiss the little snowgirl.  OK.  Whatever.

CHHEEEEESSEEEEE!

Well, in other news, Kylie has learned how to crawl over the last month!
It all started on Halloween night as we were looking at Katie's haul...
Kylie had been sitting in the stroller for an hour...
watching her sister get all the goods...
NOW!  QUICK!  WHILE KATIE ISN'T LOOKING!

That awkward (and energy-intensive) scoot eventually morphed into this:
the "wounded soldier" crawl.

And finally, the masterpiece: a real crawl.  Hooray!

So, Katie has this book of "Disney" nursery rhymes...
It's like "Minnie had a little lamb" instead of "Mary had a little lamb".
Well...Katie loves Mickey mouse so much that she has taken the time to memorize the entire book!
I've recorded every page (there are about 10 rhymes total)...but I'll just show you two...

Numero Uno...
"Minnie had a little lamb"
i.e.
"Mary had a little lamb"

Numero Dos...
"Do you know a Mickey Mouse?"
i.e.
"Do you know the muffin man?"

Last random tidbit.  Some parents teach their kids shapes like this:

"Square", "Diamond", "Circle"...

Not us!
We want Katie to know more complex shapes...
"Square", "Diamond", "Octopus"!

Here's the proof.
Gotta keep her aquatic shapes sharp!
