We spelled Nielson wrong a few times (on the other
side of the poster) before we finally got it right!
Those Nelsens! Gotta love 'em!
We had a rock-paper-scissors contest to see who would get to
hug Drew first. I won of course, since I used lava...
But Marian didn't care. She took off running to get to Drew first!
Lesson learned: Don't mess with Marian. And don't use lava.
Katie is pretty much terrified of Drew.
Why? Well, because he doesn't have a neck!
In his own words, he "traded in his neck for an extra chin".
Who wouldn't be scared of that?
Hugs.
More hugs.
And MORE hugs!
(this was the 14th time around)
Kylie was happy to see Drew
That's because she shares a gene with Drew -- cheek size and shape.
What was the first thing Drew did?
He reprimanded us for not reading our scriptures
while we were waiting for him to get off the plane.
Then he committed us all to endure to the end. Check--enduring...
The crew.
Back to our house in the interim...
Katie and James were reading about our primitive ancestory.
Katie: "We descended from apes. Read Genesis 1."
It's about time we posted some pictures of our littlest one.
She's a chunk!
She started smiling a couple weeks ago. We sure like it!
More smiles.
And who is that crazy guy with his mouth wide open?
Yes, we still own this one. And yes, she's crazy.
She just got done doing an ape dance.
That night was fireworks.
Greg caught this awesome candid camera shot.
Look at how mesmerizing that man is.
He is phenomenally handsome.
And I can't believe he isn't posing! It's all natural!
Kylie tried to suck on the sparkler.
That was the end of letting her hold one!
Sarah was trying to teach James how to draw an "O".
He learned.
It looks like Woody is the one having the best time.
He has the biggest smile on his face.
